Brief Bio of Ustad Sufu Hashim:  Married father of 5 children. He has been a martial artist for almost 40 years and has developed his own martial arts style called the Tha-Wa-Ka System of Self-Defense. Sufu has worked in the Human Services field in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York from 1972 to the present, encluding serving as a chaplain for the Department of Correction in Conn.  Sufu's mission according to him is"to save as many youths as possible from the clutches of the street and particarly from the "gangsta life" by the use of my God given gifts: the Martial Arts, love of the outdoors and love of people.  But I can't do it alone!  I need everyones help."  "Want for your brother (fellow human being) that which you want for yourself" Holy Nabi(SAW).  May the Almighty help us all.
